There is no analytics package, tag manager, heat map, session recorder or social pixel anywhere in these pages. We run no measurement of our own and embed none belonging to anyone else. As a result we cannot tell you which measurements are read most often, and we consider that an acceptable price.
No advertising appears here, no advertising network is contacted, no outbound link carries a tracking parameter and no article is sponsored or paid for. Reading a mix balance table adds nothing to any commercial profile, because this site contains no mechanism capable of contributing to one.
Everything needed to render these pages is served from this domain alone: the stylesheet, the script, every photograph and illustration, the emblem and the favicon. No web font service, script library, embedded player, comment platform or media host is involved, so opening a page here generates no request to any other party whatsoever.
The web server delivering these files may keep routine technical records of a request: the file requested, the time, the status code returned and a shortened network address. This is a characteristic of hosting rather than an editorial choice, is never associated with an identity, is not analysed for behaviour, and expires within a short period.
Our writing sometimes points to work published elsewhere. Those destinations operate under their own privacy arrangements, which we cannot review or affect, and which govern your visit from the moment you leave this domain rather than while you remain on it.
